Amy's fried noodles


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (8 ounce) package Oriental white noodles
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 bonch chinese broccoli(Any kind of green vagatable)
  • 1 small carrot, peeled and julienned
  • 1 yellow bell peppers, julienned (any color will work)
  • 1 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoons sesame seed
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon suger
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Boil noodles for 8 minutes, or until softened. Drain noodles and rising with cold water, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 teaspoon of oil over medium heat. Stir onions in oil for 2 to 3 minutes, or until softened. Add carrots, bell peppers and chinese broccoli into the skillet. Stir and add salt, suger and black pepper and cook for 3 mins or until softened.
  3. Add noodles and soy sauce, and continue cooking, turning frequently, for another 5 minutes until well-coated and heated through.
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sesame oil.

Easy Broccoli Pickle


INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Broccoli sten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon suger
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon saseme oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Trim the cut end of the boccoli sten, and cut them into thin slice. Place them in a large bowl with salt. Let stand for 10 mins. Drain and rinse under cool water, and pat dry.
  2. Add vinegar, ginger, chili sauce and saseme oil in to the broccoli sten. Let stand for 2 hours before serve. Good for a week.
